Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress famous for her character Bo on The Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter, an academic and Peter Silk, who was an actor, director, producer, writer, teacher, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching television and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk was a small model in a commercial. The Bachelor in Arts was conferred by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk was able to move out of Toronto to Los Angeles in the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met during an Actorsworkshop held in Los Angeles. When she got engaged in 2008, they married in 2009. Following her conversion to Judaism the couple renewed their wedding vows at the Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was born May 2013and had a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk's work on television is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk told fans of the show the joyous announcement that she became pregnant on the set of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was presented by Showcase in an exclusive Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the series' premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she's ready to go back to working. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production for the fourth season. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) along with Lauren Palmer (Zoie) as one of their favorite television couple. Entertainment Television.
